  1. Darn, the Mechanical Poet and Hail Spirit Noir videos wouldn't load. Shaolin Death Squad was decent and the same goes for Virus. I'm listening to some other Mechanical Poet stuff I found and I like it.
  2. 'Lizard' by Shaolin Death Squad.
  3. Well, I listen to Cssaba, Forgotten Souls, Severnaja and the spectacular Aberrant Vascular, so gothic and industrial influences are fine with me. I'll try out the other stuff first though.
  4. I wish there were more uptempo prog groups what used piano and violin or cello intensively. Age of Silence, DSO, Ne Obliviscaris and Unexpect are all awesome, but I wouldn't mind seeing some people following in their wake.
  5. That was my problem with discovering Cloudscape, they're such excellent prog/power that I could count their genuine competitors on one hand.
  6. I've already checked out OLD, Arcturus, Kayo Dot, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and Septicflesh, SGM would probably be my favorite although that's only really in principle since they're too mild most of the time. I might try Candiria.
  7. 'Dead City Stare' by Blood Revolt.
  8. BAN, do you have some more avant-garde stuff? I always have a hankering for it but my appetite is stronger than usual.
  9. 'Where the Dead Grow' by Teramaze. This old album is about half-good, but it really can't hold a candle to their new output.
  10. That's nothing, the new Amaranthe album sounds like they took melodic influences from MrWeebl...
  11. D'you go for any Hieronymus Bosch? People liked Artificial Emotions but I think their other stuff is just as good, I liked Equivoke in particular. I also look forward to any new stuff from Gravity Rain.
  12. Just finished Psycho-Pass season 1, it was pretty good. Animation and visuals were nice, villain was good, plot was solid and the main character is a very sensible and likeable young lady. I'm definitely interested in seeing season 2.
  13. There's a white guy in my African Insurgency class whose name is Christian but announced to the professor and class at large that he 'prefers to go by 'Natongo'.' I'd always heard about these guys in jokes, I'd never thought I'd actually meet one...
  14. 'The Dance of Victory' by Eluveitie.
  15. I certainly enjoyed it. Haven't listened to any Havoc Unit, but their song titles certainly are something else.
  16. 'Riddled' by Gravity Rain. I'd love to see more from this guy, he's got a nice voice.
