I just finished Berserk.
...the last episode is... just...horrifying. I think it was a quality show, but it really does end on an extremely disturbing and genuinely nightmarish note. On the other hand, it does make me want to read the manga to get the rest of the storyline.
It's a matter of taste. I hate chile, sour cream and melted cheese so I'm not predisposed towards Mexican food. I realize it can be done well, I have had good Mexican food before.
So Belgium won...but on the bright side, the US actually started playing well after the goal. It was a fun match to watch though, and Belgium's goals were well-done, so not much in the realm of BS to complain about.
The appeal is to irresponsible and lazy people who wasted their lives so that they can distract themselves from their own lack of self-control, ambition and achievement by deriding people who screwed up even worse than they did.
I did notice them mentioned, but I didn't check them out. I suppose I'll give them a go. You might perhaps like Terminal Function, that one band I mentioned earlier that sounded kinda like Meshuggah.
'Remote Views' by Terminal Function.
Kinda curious on what you lot think of these guys, they remind me a fair bit of Meshuggah but there's stuff being done differently here and there that helps lend more diversity to their sound.
Lucky me, DC's only a bus ride from NYC. I'm now trying to figure out which bands almost everyone on the forum likes. Ulcerate, Dark Tranquillity, Pavor or Edge Of Sanity seem like pretty good choices...
