  1. We need you to help arrest someone for running around in a costume and scaring people.
  2. Found out a little more about the Ukrainian crisis, apparently the new government repealed a law making Russian an official language, so that sparked unrest in Crimea and Kiev, leading to further violence by the new government and certain 'right-wing elements' in the country against Russian citizens. That's the justification Russia is providing for the intervention, so they actually do kind of have a point here. Hopefully this all sorts out neatly because this would be a bastard of a civil war if handled poorly.
  3. 'Mandaughter' by Frantic Bleep.
  4. It's interesting, I don't think I've heard a single Heart song I didn't like. Then again, I've only heard about 3.
  5. 'Imbube' by Soweto String Quartet. Fun stuff combining South African folk melodies with modern percussion and classical string instruments. They're one of the country's more famous musical exports.
  6. Now that you mention it, Jalapeno and Habanero would be excellent names.
  7. 'La Possibilite d'une Ile' by Carla Bruni.
  8. Bruni's voice is somewhat lackadaisical but relatively well-enunciated, and gives off a sort of a calming feel. If Bruni sang in English I'd probably hate her music, but in French it sounds much nicer. I hesitate to call it warm, because it isn't quite that, but it can sound nice.
  9. Vous allez mourir en les deux cas, pour vos crimes contre la langue. Sérieusement, c'est une langue sexy si vous l'utilisez correctement...
  10. Their two oldest albums, 'Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil' and 'The Strength/The Sound/The Songs' have some good material, and their latest album 'Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies' is my favorite. Do not bother with the others unless you're looking for good stuff here and there, it's awful. As a matter of fact, their mid-period stuff sounds an awful lot like Nickelback. Stick to the beginning material, back when they at least had a clue what they were doing, and the latest album where they suddenly decided to be a little more creative.
  11. I was curious; since you're willing to listen to a lot of 'accessible' material, do you like any Volbeat? I enjoy their early material and their most recent album.
  12. I would love it if there were a famous bull called Taco or something, for the sole purpose of having a Lamborghini by that name.
  13. Listening to bugger all since my computer got attacked by a virus and my sound doesn't really work now unless I perpetually fiddle with the volume control. There needs to be a Dutch bakery called Donar's Donuts where they play folk metal.
  14. Tell me about it. The first song I heard from them was 'Skylight' and my hopes were through the roof, I thought they might be one of the best bands on the planet. Then I heard everything else and it sucked.
  15. Basically everything from 'Safe' by Manticora... Also 'Flesh Eater' by Crypted.
  16. Well, the bulls are usually named, so just calling a car the 'bull' wouldn't work for Lamborghini's nomenclature. As for Horno...I got nothing.
  17. I love that album too, it's a pity those guys didn't last longer.
  18. I'm not sure I even have 100 albums in my collection real or hypothetical. That said, there are a couple that stick in my mind: 'Through Darkness' by Renascent 'The Covenant Progress' by Crimson Moonlight 'Veil of Remembrance' by Crimson Moonlight 'Welterwerk' by Drottnar 'The Forsaken' by Antestor 'Undeceived' by Extol 'Sidh' by Bran Barr 'Spicilege' by Belenos 'Imaginary Soniscape' by Sigh 'Takasago Army' by Chthonic 'Bu-Tik' by Chthonic 'The Glory of God' by Lo-Ruhamah 'Death's Design' by Diabolical Masquerade 'Death Came Through A Phantom Ship' by Carach Angren 'Lammendam' by Carach Angren
