  1. 'Not To Be Undimensional Conscious' by Disharmonic Orchestra - marvelously proggy, bass-heavy old-school technical death metal. 'Unhuman' by Unhuman - a bit of a disappointment later on, but overall some very good and strange tech/melodeath/grind. The album changes a fair bit over its course and managed to keep my attention well. 'Mutant Star' by Demimonde - dark, powerful, proggy, excellent progressive/death/black metal.
  2. 'Endless Cycle' by Toxic Smile.
  3. 'Tidal' by Sieges Even. I need to check out more by these guys.
  4. !T.O.O.H! are a pretty potent Czech death metal band who sing in said language. Et Mirrorthrone est une groupe qui joue 'progressive black metal' et chant parfois en Francais.
  5. 'Her and the Element' by Dark Suns. Yobo, give this a go. I'm liking it but I think it might suit your tastes even more. Oh good, so the fact that she called Darkwater 'a combination of Glee and hair metal' might be a remiss analysis as well? ...please?
  6. I've got to see this sometime.
  7. 'Magical Astronomy EP' by Electric Red. Very nice instrumental prog, well-paced and structured. It's emotionally effective and unhurried, perpetually engaging.
  8. 'Curse of the Mortal' by Conscience. Been on a massive prog binge all day long and it's been absolutely marvelous.
  9. 'Blood In Our Wells' by Drudkh. I'm not all that sure of how folky this is, but I do like it.
  10. 'Silent Maze' by Dreamscape. Love the opening guitar riff on this song.
  11. 'Last Goodbye' by Circus Maximus.
  12. 'Ascent' by Conversion. I keep forgetting how completely awesome this is. Jeff Lewis is a spectacular instrumentalist. On a related note I do wish Sympathy would do their next album already.
  13. 'The Architect of Fortune' by Circus Maximus. I remember liking the Skyfire album Spectral the most, although Esoteric was a very close second.
  14. Excellent! I'm definitely looking forward to this, Equilibrium's always a treat.
  15. Oh cool, someone else who likes Solution .45!
  16. 'Because It's There' by Haken. This album is definitely more upbeat than their other stuff but I'm not entirely sure that it is my bag. It frequently feels off, but not in a way that I like.
  17. You misspelled 'magnificent'.
  18. Actually, I thought the Lada Riva bore more of a resemblance to the F430.
  19. 'Freedom?' by Psychotic Waltz.
  20. There's always that side project Acrid Urine, which featured a lot of members of Shitvomit, but the pinch harmonics allied to the sludgier production and those jazzy, sycopated Fecaloid-style snare patterns put it more in the league of Loinmulcher, Vessels Of Sludge and Appendixecutioner.
  21. I found Elixir Super Lights to be easier on my fingers and less difficult to hold down, but I'm not knowledgeable in this field at all.
