Father's day in Oz today, it's pay off for all those days of Daddy Daycare, otherwise known as lockdowns 1 through to 7. Technically lockdown also means I'm not suppose to visit my old man for father's day but I can visit him as a son checking up on his elderly parents wellbeing or taking them shopping.

Metallica - Master Of Puppets

I was never a huge fan of Romper Stomper, it was okay but to me it was over hyped and over done. But Mr. Inbetween is great. The initial movie (The Magician) is now only available on Youtube, but it's well worth checking out to see where Ray started and what can be made for $3000. It's raw and probably not for those that think everything has to be viewed in Hi Def but it's a fun movie to start off the career of such a great character.

Maybe the surprise is that I like the first single more as I listen to it with the whole album? The long songs really don't feel like they are too long to me either. I do remember thinking after seeing the track listing that I hoped the end of the album didn't get boring with more than 30 minutes in 3 songs but for me it doesn't. The last three songs feel like really solid Maiden songs. Dark Angel - Leave Scars

I read an interview with Bruce the other day where he said there was going to be some surprises on the new album. I'm yet to find anything I'd call a surprise. And yeah probably more like AMOLAD rather than FF

I was at my local JB at 9am this morning, I was the first person there for click and collect so I wasn't waiting. On first listen I don't mind it. It's long but flows okay. There is elements of old Maiden as well as some songs which sound like they could have been on The Book Of Souls. Bruce's voice sounds like he hasn't lost much and the playing does sound tight. I need a few more listens to make a thorough judgement though.

Same chick that is main in Wanted is main in Halifax, only Halifax dates back about 25 years to the first one. It was a bit of a stretch to get three series out of Wanted, but the first two were pretty good. Mystery Road/Goldstone don't have to be watched in order but if you do it's Goldstone, Mystery Road movie, then the two series.
