I have often overlooked them to be honest but I recently bought a book about great album covers in which they appear a couple of times with "No Mean City" and "Razamanaz" which has made me want to check them out.

I think like Incantation, Suffocation are responsible for a lot of shit that newer bands try to pass off as being "influenced" by the "old-school broootallll" bands nowadays. Some shit is just only meant to be done once guys! Thanks for the sig recognition - just was in my head from waking up the other day so had to put it down somewhere.

Had Grim Reaper "See You In Hell" blasting earlier followed by Attack "Destinies Of War" (ho the fucking solo work on that bastard is unbelievable). Been an awesome sounding day.

Have a whole week off work and I am burying my head in the sand on the work front. Told the staff no phones calls please and my emails I will not be checking so they will have to go to someone else should the shit hit the fan. I plan on discovering some new music and rediscovering some classics.

Being honest, I used to prefer "Effigy..." and only recently recognised the brutality and technical mastery of "Pierced..." now it's up there in my DM all time top 10.

This is frankly the most ridiculous post I have ever seen! "Yay everybody I am new, all tell me your music NOW! DO IT, DO IT NOW! And by the way do it by these rules or else! GRR!" Not having fun. No sir, not me.

I mostly listen to music in the car or when sat surfing the web at home. I also find it useful to have music on when ironing (yeah go rock n roll me).

De La Soul - De La Soul Is Dead

Sun Worship "Elder Giants", "Split w/ Earth Chaos", "Split w/ Unru" and "Surpass Eclispe" all superb bits of BM seeped in savage vox and atmosphere. My new discovery.

Sun Worship - Split with Earth Chaos. Not usually a massive fan of modern BM but Sun Worship have really impressed me with their blistering pace and savage vocal delivery seeped in atmosphere. So much so I have just paid money on a "name your price" deal on Bandcamp. I've grown as a person!
