'Void' by Innerty. FA might like this as well, it's some nice tech-death from Lyon. Admittedly it has some djent influences, but I don't think they pollute the overall song though.

Is it any different from their previous output? Archspire always struck me as coming from the Spawn Of Possession/Miseration/Nile/Decrepit Birth school of terminally dull tech-death that's impressive from a technical standpoint but almost totally worthless with regards to songwriting.

HammerFall have been taking a break from any kind of creativity whatsoever since they finished Crimson Thunder. I really hope that this hype is correct and they'll be going back to being the melodic power metal masters they used to be.

'Nothing' by Apokatastasia.

'Sag Lessek' by Apokatastasia. Very nice experimental instrumental black metal with plenty of interesting elements. This song has a violin to its credit, the last one has what sounded like a saxophone.

If that's true, then thank you very much for the clarification. I just wish he/she had said that. Which subgenres do this? I'm not a musical expert but I'd assume it's common to many if not all metal genres.

'Beyond Horizons' by Lux Aeterna.

'Your Saving Hand' by Lux Aeterna. The name makes them sound like a dull Euro power metal group, but it's nicely engaging prog with some power metal and neoclassical elements that are well-integrated and add to the music. Et ils sont Breton aussi.

Listened to some Halestorm for research purposes and wow, they suck even worse than I remember. Lzzy Hale sounds like the voice of STDs. Back to prog now with: 'Universal Roots' by Lemur Voice.

'Ag2o' by Blood Stain Child. I thought I'd give these guys a shot, they're pretty enjoyable so far.
