  1. 'Vi Salde Mara Hemman' by Falconer. Oh, Oz is back.
  2. Got better scores in French than I expected, which is nice.
  3. 'Mountain Men' by Falconer. I forgot how very suave this guy's voice is.
  4. 'Buildings' by Katatonia. Yeah, and why don't I wear a scarf, trilby and loafers without socks while I'm out buying vinyl...honestly, who are you taking me for?
  5. Tengger Cavalry use horse-head fiddle and tuvan throat-singing, which sound just as great as you'd think - I'd been waiting for a band to use throat-singing for ages. Rudra's chants also sounded pretty cool.
  6. The lineup for next year's ProgPower is kind of interesting: Hibria Anubis Gate Morgana Lefay Falconer Voyager Anathema Helker Persefone Dynazty Riverside Royal Hunt Angra Anubis Gate, Voyager and Persefone definitely stick out to me, although Dynazty's latest album is very enjoyable power metal. Of course, this is all entirely irrelevant inasmuch as I can't go and even if I could it wouldn't really be good value for money.
  7. 'Too Late For Love' by Def Leppard. I wish there were a doom cover of this done by Solstice or maybe Las Cruces.
  8. 'Savior's Call' by Rob Rock, on my new speakers. Not as loud as the old ones but good enough for a single dorm.
  9. Safeway has had a Hot Wheels rack up for a few weeks so I recently picked up a '71 Skyline GT-R, (wonderfully styled, I'm trying to draw a modern variant) a Mastretta MXR and a LaFerrari (that has got to be the least original name for a car I have ever heard, though...). BMW's new 1M is apparently quite the piece of engineering, Clarkson thought it could upset the M3. In that regard I was reminded of the position in which Pontaic found itself in '68-'69 with the Firebird actually being in every way a better performance machine than the GTO.
  10. The series Incumbent Evil, Left 4 Red and the Borderless games got ported to PC, but it didn't work since they don't have Personal Computers in Cuba, only PCCs - People's Collective Computers.
  11. I do like those. I can't quite get my head 'round the last verse though.
  12. The mullet was created by the Huns and co-opted by the eighties. In truth it is a proud haircut.
  13. Hell yes, I like them. They're a bit on the mild side but they're quite enjoyable. I have been working out regularly, which has been nice.
  14. SSC is planning the Tuatara, which is pretty cool as well. Should be even faster than the Ultimate Aero.
  15. Same kinda weather here. I wouldn't mind it being a bit colder but it's nice. I might have trouble in my Ethics and Interational Relations class...my professor is certainly a very knowledgeable woman but she's also something of a bleeding heart, which is going to make it kinda hard for me to take the sort of cautious and relentlessly practical bean counter attitude I usually try to have in discussing these things.
  16. Thanks for the song recommendations. Myspace has created a mix, deciding that 'similar songs' include 'One' by Metallica, 'Sweet Dreams Are Made of This' by Marilyn Manson, 'Coming Down' by Five Finger Death Punch and 'Middle Fingers Up' by Attila.
