  3. If you don't mind I'm going to question the logic. How do you plan on breaking into a market heavily saturated with established competitors? True, there may be external economies of scale in the radio industry that reduce costs, but that doesn't necessarily help your station vis-a-vis others that people already know and love, which interestingly enough brings me to my point. Expanding into other genres from the outset would immediately help delineate your product from the legions of heavy metal/hard rock stations out there. Sure, it doesn't necessarily have to be over 50% of the material you play, but setting aside maybe 10% of airtime for other genres might be a good way of getting some recognition. There's a substantial amount of beloved death metal from the 90's - doom and prog were also expanding then. It's a good thing that you plan on playing some power metal, that's a genre that doesn't get a lot of play outside of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. However, I think it would help things if you further establish your radio station as being open to all classic metal and not just the material most folks have already heard.
  4. 'As A Man Thinks' by Mullmuzzler.
  5. 'Second Death' by Becoming The Archetype. The vocals are still less than stellar, but I'm liking the progression here. This album was definitely worth my time.
  6. No, but I listen to a number of French bands, does that count?
  7. 'The Great Fall' by Becoming The Archetype.
  8. 'Racines Denudees' by Mirrorthrone.
  9. Try taking a dump, that'll relieve you generally.
  10. Wow, they managed to make a breakdown sound cool. Haven't heard a band do that in a while. Overall I'd say I enjoyed this, this is promising and they ought to keep up the good work.
  11. You haven't met murph yet. N'inquietez pas, il a son tete dans son propre cul.
  12. 'Immolation' by Becoming The Archetype. I checked these guys out since the guitarist is Alex Kenis from Aletheian. So far they're not bad, there's a decent amount of variety here. The vocals annoy me a little but I can bear up.
  13. Nobody's going to screw with you for being a Christian, not while I'm here.
  14. 'No One By My Side' by Mirrorthrone. I always thought these guys sounded very sinister, complex and powerful, but now I'm going to get a proper exposure. If the rest of their work is like this then I'm in for a treat.
  15. I was kind of curious since I know that Mind Assault sing in Afrikaans.
  16. 'Postfuturistika' by ...and Oceans.
  17. 'Dimension Hell' by Transcending Bizarre.
  18. Not to ask a stupid question, but d'you know any metal bands incorporating boeretroos elements into their music? I always thought that could be cool.
