I'm terrible at introductions haha, my name is Mira and I'm from SA. I grew up listening to metal thanks to my parents and also playing videogames.  I'm a huge music nerd and classically trained singer. I love everything horror, from horror movies to horror games and Manga. I'm a huge silent hill fan and have a tattoo on my thigh to prove it 😎 my favorite metal genres are nu, prog, alternative, metalcore, goth/symphonic, and industrial.  I'm also big into videogames of all kinds and recently finished my first souls which has me super happy haha my favorite bands are tool, deftones, spiritbox, periphery, erra, brand of sacrifice and Thornhill.

I was into all the early Floyd up until the The Wall, unpopular opinion but I never really got into that album it seemed more of a commercial venture on that release same opinion with In Through the Out Door - Zep which I didn't like at all. Could be I was more into prog and getting into jazz fusion at the time. WYWH I would put in the top 5, Meddle would be in there too, Animals, Pipers and of course DSOTM    
If your into Trad doom check out Trouble, Pagan Altar, Uncle Acid maybe start with Blood Lust one of the top 25 TDM of all time, early albums by The Sword, The site has a lot of forums for all the different genre's there are some good suggestions in them. 

I'd like to see Mortal Sin (Aus) reunite.
As per the rules of the thread they'd have to reunite with the Rebellious Youth (Every Dog Has It's Day in the US) line up and not the line up that released their first two iconic albums because Mick Burke died in 2017, but that's okay. Technically they couldn't reunite with Wayne Campbell either because he's been a missing person since 2022.
They have reformed a few times for various gigs but that haven't been very active except on Facebook from time to time.
 
 

I am really enjoying to listen some (Traditional) Doom Metal from Reverend Bizarre,Pentagram,Witchfinder General and Saint Vitus;black metal (both waves) like Behexen,Nocturnal,Nocturnal Breed,Root,Ocultan,Necromantia and Impaled Nazarene;death-doom like Coffins and some traditional heavy and/or NWOBHM like Satan and Saxon.I am really interested in japanese extreme metal scene.I already liked Sabbat stuffs.

In Malices Wake, Hidden Intent, Harlott, Militaria are some newer ones I guess fit into the category.
Descerator were pretty good but they called it quits recently.
However I'm more into older stuff like Mortal Sin, Allegiance, Armoured Angel, Addictive, Hobbs Angel Of Death and Tarimis

I get a lot of Aussie shit sent to me from mates still in the industry. Sometimes there are gems other times not so much.
Fenrir is on bandcamp under fenriraustralia. The vocals are a little more aggressive (not death growls), but it's the same band.
