  1. stocked up on 10kg of uk lovehearts candy. probably unusual choice but they taste good even if the messages on the candy make me cringe. ๐Ÿ˜ซ will keep me going in to 2022 hopefully. i used to pretend its like medicine. its not medicine at all and is not good for me but i like it. out of interest do they still make lovehearts candy in usa. if so is it any good. good one. i drink more whisky these days. funny because it was my least favourite spirit when i started drinking. its not thread for alcohol so won't ask a question. cows with guns. amusing video. im glad normal cows dont carry uzis ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. very good re closest youve come to a bullet coffee or whatever its called. yeah im not convinced either. sounds like rubbish breakfast to me. then again im fussy. no carbs in it. not for me. probably my cousin has them. shes well in to the latest thing๐Ÿ˜‚ very amusing comment re why cows need grass. ive got memories of seeing cattle in usa eating hay and dirt from huge feeder things and cows in picturesque fields in Switzerland eating green greeen grass. the latter was rather idyllic imo
  3. not yet. too much work and no play.๐Ÿ˜ซ ive put it on a list for when im off next. you know treat myself to a download. have you been watching any horror of note recently
  4. my sister has european friends and they just cant get why people like marmite. they see it as stock, like the kind of thing to improve a bolagnese or something. however imo theyve got to be tried to understand it. whats not to like about toast with loads of butter and with yeasty high salt content product on it i.e marmite. also note im an addict who needs to cut down ๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. breakfast of champions does sound good. yeah definitely a good start. have you tried a bullet coffee. uk mp tom watson is very keen on them. apparently there a coffee with melted better in them instead of creme. apparently its very important the cows are grass fed๐Ÿ˜‚im sure it makes all the difference. that guy im with you re corn flakes. dont like them wet or dry. they dont agree with me. i eat them and i feel worse you probably dont but i do. loads like them. we dont for differing reasons. i dont have vegemite but i do like marmite(uk equivalent well i have a superior imo supermarket copy) probably should cut down. a heaped teaspoon on toast is bad for the ticker when I'm having it daily.
  6. cool list. my favourites are 1. ride the lightning: love this record, just sounds so amazing to my ears, title track is a favourite of mine and i like the instrumental alot. didn't like this album much at first but i just liked it more and more with time. 2. master of puppets: a very very good album. dont listen to it much now but used to be my absolute favourite metal album before i rather overplayed it. im sure i can get back in to it again. 3. kill em all: has the best energy out of all there albums imo. gets bit repetitive for me but when it works its as good as it gets at least for me. 4. and justice for one and harvester of sorrow. 5.black album was first mettalica album i got, enter sandman what a track, 6.load. there was a time 15 plus years ago i listened to this album alot. ok so you like st anger some what but its hardly your favourite or have i got it wrong๐Ÿ˜„. what is your favourite track on it.
  7. 1) acid reign 2)slow 3) immortal 4) illimitable dolor 5)slayyyyyyyeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  8. imo sounds terrible. ๐Ÿ˜tbh most people like those. im at my parents so i raided there lader while they were out. best ive had is premium french tinned sardines with olive oil and herbs de provence. bit fancy but i like them. my parents are not going to be happy. ๐Ÿ˜‚ on friday had fried lamb mince. really gave me a boost๐Ÿ˜‹ out of interest what are the foods people have to give them a boost when they feel bit run down?
  9. liking st anger by mettalica is very impressive. im along way from that right now. out of interest what your favourite mettalica album interesting relentless oblivion re emperor nightshade eclipse. i like the album alot but because i only listen to single tracks at a time im definitely losing bit of interest with it which is a shame.id like it alot more if i played it from start to end,
  10. great choice eternalcrypt. after a long period of listening to doom metal im listening to faster pace music including immortal. not fully heard that record so cant comment on it. out of interest what are your standout tracks on the album. im listening to the immortal battles in the north album. id recommend that. its very fast and excellent imo. track mighty ravendark is best imo from this album
  11. i don't sleep enough to have dreams most of time but occasionally when i have a catch-up 10+ sleep i do but i rarely remember them. obviously if i was being murdered in my dreamโ›๏ธ๐Ÿ”ด i would. tends to stay in my memory bank ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ˜
  12. a midsummer murders fan thats great. i used to watch fair few episodes. i used to get excited when i watched the early episodes. not so much these days but its still good. i used to work in the 3 counties where they filmed it which i thought was cool. re barnaby the original john nettles was the best imo. replacement was ok but not same presence imo. also have you seen Bergerac. a much much younger and thinner john nettles(original baranaby) is the star of that. apparently its bit like uk equivalent of miami vice. no idea as not seen that. id recommend that even though its not strictly murder mystery although some episodes are like the mason one.
  13. for my birthday i will download few episodes, haunted bridge and soft horror sound ok to me. plus theres this American one that looks good. its sort of got comedy element to it. balor recommended it. will you tube my life is murder too. see whats its about.
  14. 3 bars of montezuma 100% chocolate. its so good. also ended up with 3 bars of lindt milk chocolate as i bought them for a present then my wife says didn't i tell you i bought x so your bars of chocolate are not needed. its really good but thanks to my kids giving me a bad cold i cant taste much. will work out who needs a "present". of course could could take it back to the supermarket but im lazy ๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. blaze bayley has a bit of a following and i know fair few people who like his stuff, even if imo it did not work with him in iron maiden, following bruce was mission impossible imo, out of interest do you prefer his solo stuff or his iron maiden time
  16. so sorry for you losing some of your friends to covid. im lucky, no one significant to me has died of covid. think it probably matter of time tbh.also i hope seeing your fallen friends in your dreams has helped.
  17. natassja a serial killer who gave me the creeps back in the day was dr death Harold shipmen. convicted of 15 murders. They reckon he murdered in excess of 250 of his patients. Apparently so many of his patients would be in good health then suddenly theyd die. Most of them from what i read were cremated so no chance for I'm guess coronars inquiry. He still gives me the creeps even if hes not around anymore. Forging the will when he got caught. The audacity that some of these people have nat. ๐Ÿ˜ซ
  18. im with you re eating throughout day. no lunch break 30 mins or whatever for me at work. little and often through out the day like every 60 mins or something. if i dont do this man i feel rough the next day. all i can say is what i do works for me. its not typical way of doing things but it works for me. also ive cut back on my carb consumption as was having too much of this. i have alot more energy because of this reduction. its obvious really. re breakfast im the opposite small breakfast then what ive previously said in message.
  19. one lane bridge sounds very interesting. psychic policeman solves crimes and sees ghosts๐Ÿ‘ป sounds like winning idea to me ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

    Books?

im with you re the Hobbit films they are better with your brain switched off, think thats what you were saying, imo i still think theyd have made a good duo of films. the book is better imo glad you liked dragons of babel by Michael swanwick. if you like fantasy comedy have you read any terry Pratchett's discworld books. there laugh out loud imo books noted down. christmas or birthday presents for certain family members ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  21. thanks for the film ideas the unholy one. return of the swamp thing definitely looks alright. love the look of the swamp thing. looks excellent from you tube clips ive seen. your synopsis for greasy strangler is spot on too.
  22. very interesting message depraved.thanks for sending. all those nightmares. very interesting variety.you getting stabbed or run over till death by family members ouch.๐Ÿ˜€ looks like we both are not so keen on the ones when we get killed but it be weird if it was any other way tbh.โ˜บ๏ธ your dreams re walking descending never ending steps and the Long hallway with many rooms that are all locked sound very frustrating even if there are worse dreams to have than them. youve got my sympathy which you prob dont want๐Ÿ˜
  23. ๐Ÿ‘ macabre eternal i appreciate the comments as you came across a bit grumpy but id say it was both our faults, probably makes no sense this comment but its my opinion ๐Ÿ˜€. also your a top moderator imo, no comments needed as im going way off courseโ›ด๏ธ๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธโ›ตin the greatest album opener thread. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. good point macabre.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ i mention this track as your comment gave me the impression this was only track thats still amazing while the rest are a bit dated. i was just standing up for the cemetery gates track thats all.
  25. after bigging up metal hammer uk magazine. ive not properly read any issue for over a year. i struggle to find or make the time. my wife has a some sort of special abilities where i read a zine or listen to metal for no time and she knows and barks at me and generally goes nuts. . anybody else has this issue. and no im not divorcing. ๐Ÿ˜
