I've been to the seaside today (Blackpool for any locals) and quite enjoyed a walk on the beach and a lung full of sea air.

Done the moderator role myself on another forum for a good few years. Think BAN has the right idea - doing a quiet moderating function without smothering the forum.

13 is a good record, the hate it gets is usually from those saps with the "it's not the real Sabbath because Bill Ward isn't on it!" - bollocks. There are some great riffs on that record. Arsis "A Celebration Of Guilt" - nearly deleted this recently as I rarely played it. Threw it on 10 mins ago and it is def staying!

My friend finished his chemotherapy today and is looking surprisingly well (although tired). Few weeks to go and hopefully he can have his surgery and continue his recovery.

Lucy has this habit of waking up really early and jumping on my chest and sitting washing or purring at me until I get up and feed her. She also won't use the litter tray unless one of us accompanies her and sits while she does her stuff in there.

Not usually a plug type of a guy but someone I know from another forum I frequent has just released an EP and I really like the sound and he is an all round top bloke so I have decided to spread the word for his band. The EP is available via Bandcamp https://thekingisblind.bandcamp.com/album/bleeding-the-ascension on a "pay what you want" type of deal. The band play a melodic form of death/doom with some great riffs and raspy vocals. Just confirmed to play at Bloodstock - good work fellas.
