So much Lemmy excitement. I feel compelled to speak up, not just about this thread, but about the whole 'Lemmy' phenomenon. 
Sorry if this is rude (and it definitely is and I don't mean it personally), but none of you miss Lemmy because I doubt you knew him, and there are a billion videos, albums and a few books available to experience the great man. In 2017 you can't take a few steps without tripping over the guy, even two years after his death. 
The only thing that has changed is that you won't be able to see him play live again or hear new music. There's definitely a sadness attached to that, considering he was a stalwart of rock n roll. But surely none of you actually miss him in the regular sense of the expression. 
Lemmy was awesome, obviously. But let's keep it Lemmy style and not overdo it.  
 

Man to be honest it was more that I felt he deserved a mention in the "Metal Legends" section than anything else.  But I guess in a sense he's not really dead, you just have to press play and listen.

My local metal pub has a Lemmy day once a year, with Motorhead themed everything, Motorhead music, DVDs on the TVs and cheap Jack and Cokes. It's a great day. 
Also, the Lemmy movie is awesome one of those great biographical pieces that is fun for the music and for the man and a really cool legacy.

Also as for the picture, i’d possibly say 80s maybe even 90’s?

My brother also a bass player met Lemmy in the 80's after a show walking up the street, they hung out while my brothers GF went into s drugstore to get one of the disposable flash cams to capture the moment. Lemmy was a righteous hombre, straight shooter who suffered no fools, we need more like him.  

It's all about the rig you're going into and the sound you're looking for, I think. There's no one silver bullet. The Rat is a great pedal once you get the filter frequency dialed in just right. I like it as part of a parallel processing chain with my bass rig, so I can blend in a compressed clean signal with the distortion on top. I thought fuzz would work great for that but the Rat hit the sweet spot.

It's hard to say what this could be without looking at it. Maybe it's a setup issue, maybe it's a pickup wiring problem, maybe it's the pickups themselves, maybe it's a low battery, maybe it's something to do with your amp or plugin settings. It's probably not a fatal flaw in the guitar itself. The Solar clip doesn't sound inconsistent to me. But if the tone isn't what you're looking for and you can't make it work, either take it to a good tech and go through your problems in detail, or use a different guitar. If your Gio is sounding better to you, get a professional setup with new strings.

Some alcohol and bell witches mirror reaper works well. I was skeptical. I had some freebie Christmas wine left over from work so I downed half the bottle as I'm not a complete alcoholic 😁. The album and alcohol works well. Spot on 🤘🤘 next stop scotch whisky and the album. 👍
