Ya funny bastard!

To be fair you started it ha ha. Nice recommendation though in all seriousness. -
1914 - The Blind Leading The Blind Outstanding album.
Hell yes.
Np: Alcest - Spiritual Instinct.
Alcest doing what modern-day Alcest does best (note: Requiem’s damning view of their live performance. He is a harsh task master).

There’s so much pure metal in that you’re gonna rust if you dare go outdoors. Great haul. -
Into Eternity is the only Desultory album that I've connected with, but if you like A Velvet Creation you ought to check out the followup album Mirrorworlds. There's a lot of classic Swedeath that I have to admit does nothing for me -- melodic or otherwise -- but then that scene also produced some of my favorites. You might get on with Grave's first two albums, Dark Tranquillity for The Gallery in particular but their first three albums all around, and definitely check out Gorement's The Ending Quest and A Canorous Quintet's hidden gem Silence Of The World Beyond, if you haven't already heard any of that. The only thing there I have never heard at all is Carnrous Quintet, which I am rectifying now... but the others I have only skipped through on YouTube or whatever, so will definitely revisit those too, thanks.
Unanimated’s ‘Ancient God of Evil’ is worthy of checking out too! Life Demise!

Coffin Rot debut. Hell yes. Some great death metal coming out of the US this year.
Recommend this for anyone who like’s quality death (Tomb Mold, Jungle Rot etc).

It's so underrated. When I hear people talk about this album, the only songs they usually mention are Embers Fire and True Belief (both great songs) but in my opinion the entire first half of the album is what really shines. I love Forging Sympathy, Joys of Emptiness, and Dying Freedom as well. Also totally just realized where your username is from. Can't believe I didn't see it before hahaha.
Agree with all of that. From the 2nd half, I do really like Poison & Widow. -
One of the Top 5 albums of all time for me. Amazing. So glad you mentioned Remembrance. Do you remember life now ?!!Paradise Lost - Icon I typically go right for Draconian Times but Icon has some great classics on it, even if it's sort of front-loaded and begins to drag halfway through. Love the guitar work. You can really hear that this is where the groundwork for Draconian Times was laid. Can't get enough of that clean tone on "Remembrance", damn.Forging Sympathy gets the nod as my fave all time Paradise Lost song for ever and ever.
New Sodom single.Love it. Listened 4-5 times today already; and new Stormwarrior song too.

Sodom - Persecution Mania
Seem to appreciate this album more every time I listen to it.
I’m looking forward to the freshly recorded version of Agent Orange on the upcoming EP.
Different album to PM, I know. -
Post 1999 Saxon resonates most strongly with me.
Lionheart, Thunderbolt, Metal Head, Killing Ground, Battering Ram.
-
By the way, you guys ever heard of Asphalt Ballet? I listen to them once in a while. Kind of an obscure cock rock band I found out about from a biker movie.
Yeah, reminded me a little of Spread Eagle, perhaps a little more blues inspired than the mighty ‘Eagle’ were. Arrive a little late to the party from memory and didn’t get a lot of traction. I’ve got the debut - nice guitar tone.
You might like Dirty Looks’ debut if you like AB.

Crashdiet- RUST.
Another solid, Dr Feelgood-era Crüe release.
5 albums in, these guys never disappoint. -
Newly remixed & remastered version of Lustmord & Wargasm is now out there, and it sounds pretty good tbh.
Having said that, the original was just fine by me.
-
New Entrails. Solid meat & potatoes death metal. Dependable band if nothing unique.
-
HAIL BORKNAGAR!
No band has had better vocalists in and out. It's just insane. Hail 'True North'. Hail 'Winter Thrice'.
Gene, Paul, Ace.....and Peter???
-
Warlock - Burning the Witches
-
On a more serious note.... some others I rate:
-
Bona fide classic right here
-
Love this too

Dunno what it is but I love this album cover. I think it takes me back to happy times.
And this. Killer band pic.
